Configuring Your Notifications

You can set how often you are notified for activity in your Keeping mailboxes. To change this setting, go to the "Preferences" area of the Keeping website, and then choose which mailbox you'd like to configure your notifications for. You may have different notification settings for each mailbox.

After selecting your mailbox, you can choose one of four notification levels. By default, each mailbox is set to "My Important Events." See below for more detail on each category.

All Events

Keeping will notify you for nearly all activity in this mailbox. This includes when a new ticket arrives and all replies to that ticket, along with all other activity such as changes to tags, assignment, notes, status, and priority. You'll also be notified if someone @mentions you in a Note.

All Important Events

For all tickets in this mailbox, Keeping will notify you when a new ticket arrives and all replies, and when a ticket's status or assignment changes. You'll also be notified if someone @mentions you in a Note.

My Important Events

For tickets that are assigned to you, Keeping will notify you when someone replies, and when a ticket's status or assignment changes. You'll also be notified if someone @mentions you in any ticket in the mailbox.

None

You will only be notified if someone @mentions you in a Note.
