When you install the Keeping Toolbar, we automatically create a Gmail filter to prevent Keeping tickets from ending up in your Inbox. Here's how to manually add a filter if, for some reason, the automatic creation did not complete.
Start by logging in to the Gmail account where you will use Keeping. This is usually your personal work account.
Choose "Settings" by clicking on the gear icon in your Gmail.
Choose the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab in the settings.
Confirm that you do not have the Keeping filter already installed. If you don't see a filter like the one below, then proceed with creation of a new filter.
Click on "Create a new filter"
Enter "Powered by Keeping" for the Has the words: section. Click "Create filter".
Choose "Skip the Inbox (Archive it)", "Apply the label: Help Desk" (you can create the label, if need be), and "Never send it to Spam". Optionally, you may "Also apply filter to x matching conversations" if you would like to move any mail currently in your inbox.
That's it, you're done! Any email sent by Keeping will now be kept out of your Inbox. You should see a filter like the one below if everything was completed correctly.
